Solution

Dear Student,

7.(i)When Iron oxide(Fe2O3) reacts with aluminium to give molten iron(Fe) and aluminium oxide(Al2O3).

The chemical reaction are
Fe2O3 + 2Al ----> 2Fe + Al2O3
It is a displacement type reaction.

(ii)When potassium chloride(KCl) when mixed with silver nitrate(AgNO3) solution an insoluble white substance formed is silver chloride(AgCl).

The chemical reaction are
KCl + AgNO3 → KNO3 + AgCl
It is a double displacement type reaction.
