Carbon dioxide extinguishers are filled with the non flammable carbon dioxide gas and a mixture of liquid under normal room temperature and extreme pressure.It is stored under a higher pressure so as to remain it in a liquid form.The carbon dioxide smoothens the oxygen and also removes heat.
