If we burn a magnesium ribbon is burnt it forms a powdery ash which is magnesium so if we burn a cracker we get the ash right,so is this powder MgO

Fireworks materials are made not only by magnesium its made by many chemicals like aluminium, lithium, lead and strontium chemical compounds. All these after burning give ash only.
