Dear Student,

When a system is in equilibrium, the entropy is maximum i.e. there is maximum randomness in the system.
There is no change entropy, and thus it is said i.e. ΔS=0.
Also, at equilibrium nothing changes and becomes constant and so it is said to be in equilibrium.
