Dear Student,
Mountaineers and trekkers should know that though they do have the freedom to enjoy the natural environment, they must do so while conserving its integrity and value. They must respect the government and local rules of trekking areas like natural parks, mountains, or hills. Many of the trekking routes and trails are within Natural Parks. One must abide by the regulations of those parks and must take necessary precautions towards their natural surroundings to preserve them. Mountaineers and trekkers must deposit garbage in places indicated for it and not litter their natural surroundings. If they are camping, they should check if it is allowed to light a fire in their camping place. If it is allowed, they should do it cautiously and very responsibly while respecting the flora, fauna and ensuring they cause no harm to anything around them.
