Dear Student,
a. Waste water management is largely practises globally.
b. The purpose of which is to remove contaminants from the water and discharge it back to the environment or water cycle.
c. Presently , since large amount of waster water is discharged into water bodies., threatening marine life and contaminating water, it is imperative to practise waste water management and remove all solid and liquid pollutants from the water before returning it to water cycle.
d. This is to ensure that all impurities are removed and that water is treated before it is dicahrged in water bodies so that they can minimally impact the environment.
e Treating waste water is certainly a larger issue, though many developed countries have developed proper waste water treatment plants, it is more an issue that needs to be addressed in developing countries,
f. Though many countries like Indonesia, countries in South America are making investments in treatment plants , a lot of progress needs to be made.
g. Further in many regions of the World drought like conditions have compelled governments to enourage the development of waster water reuse.
