Solution

The correct option is C Mixtures
Bronze is made up of melting two different metals and mixing them. The two metals are copper and tin. The two elements are mixed because copper alone is too soft to make tools and tin is brittle that breaks easily. So when both are mixed it becomes bronze. Brass is made up of zinc and zinc is added to strengthen copper so as to prevent the corrosion. Corrosion is a natural process in which the metal reacts with the atmospheric oxygen and forms oxide, that is a layer of metal oxide. It is a gradual destruction of materials by the chemical reaction. So the correct option is a mixture.
