Solution

The correct option is C Rs. 43200
Given dimension of the brick : length = 25 cm , breadth= 12.5 cm and height = 7.5 cm
Hence the volume of 1 brick = length × breadth × height .
Volume of the brick = 25×12.5×7.5=2343.75cm3
Given dimension of the wall : length = 200 m , breadth= 37. 5 cm and height = 1.8 m
Volume of the whole wall =(200×100)×(1.8×100)×37.5=135,000,000cm3
No of bricks required = volume of the whole wall÷volume of a brick.

135,000,0002343.75

=57600 bricks

Now given the cost of 1000 bricks is Rs 750 .
So cost of 57600 bricks will be :

57600×7501000

Rs 43,200

The cost required to build the wall is Rs 43,200
