Human made resources: When natural resources are used to create something new and usable, it is called a human made resource. Sometimes, natural substances become resources only when their original form has been changed. For example iron ore which is considered a natural resource now was not considered a resource until people learnt to extract iron from it.

Human resources: Humans in itself are considered a resource. So, that is why, it is called human resources. People can make the best use of nature to create more resources by applying the knowledge, skill, and the technology.
