Dear Student
1) The Indian National Army was formed by Indian nationalists in South East Asia in 1942 as an armed force to wage war against the British for Indian Independence.
2) The army was commanded by Subhash Chandra Bose. It formed an alliance with the Japanese Army.
3) It fought the British in Burma and reached Indian territory as far as Kohima in India.
4) However, it could not sustain the campaign as the Japanese themselves surrendered to the Allies when it lost the Second World War.
