The three essential parts of a cell are:
(i) Cell membrane :
Each cell is bound by a thin membrane called the cell membrane or plasma membrane.
It is selectively permeable i.e., it allows the entry of certain molecules only while holding back the other.
(ii) Cytoplasm:
The cytoplasm is a semi-liquid, colourless, and translucent substance.
(iii) Nucleus:
It is located towards the centre of the cytoplasm.
It regulates and coordinates various life processes of the cell.
