1. Cheap: It is a cheap way to communicate with people. The cost of sending an email is the same regardless of the number of people you send it to.

2. Fast: It is a fast way to communicate as it reaches the people residing in even far off countries in minutes. The distances do not matter in this case.

3. Convenient: It is convenient to send an email as the same message can be sent to many people. Also, until the recipient reads it, it is stored in his inbox.

4. Permanent: It is easy to keep a track of all the emails and replies including the date and time of the messages.
