The dissimilarities between the unification of Italy and Germany were:-
  • During the unification of Italy, administration was centralised under Peidmont which was in a weak position while in the during the unification of Germny the administration was centralised under Prussia who was a power state.
  • Italian states lacked unity thats why their unification process was very dificult while in case of Germany it wasnt that dificult.
  • Secret underground societies were formed by Mazzini during the unification of Italy but no secret socirties were formed in the case of Germany.
  • During unification of Italy, most of the Italian states were under the influence of Austria while during unification of Germany Austria was only the head of German confederation states.
