Briefly explain the composition of the Zila Parishad.

A Zila Parishad is a co ordinating which has the jurisdiction of a Revenue District. All the Presidents of Panchayat Samiti in a district should be the members of a Zila Parishad. along with Members of Legislative Assembly from these districts including departments like medical, heath, agriculture, veterinary, engineering, education, public works and others will also be the members of a Zila Parishad.

The Chairman of a Zila Parishad must be a District Collector or a Magistrate. and the Secretary must be a District Officer.
