Reflex action:
A spontaneous, automatic, involuntary, response to a stimulus that occurs without any conscious effort or thought and requires the involvement of the CNS, is known as the reflex action.
There are two types of reflex action a. Unconditioned or inborn reflexes and b. Conditioned or acquired reflexes.
The neural pathway of reflex action is known as the reflex arc.

The sudden closing of eyes when flashed with a high-intensity light.
