Briefly explain the power of accommodation.

Accommodation refers to the ability of the eye to focus at different distances by changing the curvature of the lens. Lens fine tune the focusing of light on retina by changing the shape as brought about by ciliary muscles. Ciliary body changes the shape of the lens through relaxation and contraction of ciliary muscles while focusing on distant and near object respectively.
