Dear student,
The differences between the eastern coastal plain and the western coastal plain of India are
1. Location: As the name suggests, the eastern coastal plain is located along the eastern coast of India between the Bay of Bengal and the Eastern Ghats. The western coastal plain is located along the western coast of India between the Arabian Sea and the Western Ghats
2. Different sections. The eastern plain has two sections. From south to north, they are called the Coromandel coast and the Northern Sircars. The western plain also has two sections. From south to north, they are caled the Malabar coast and the Konkan coast.
3. Rivers: The rivers in the eastern plains are large and slow. They make wide deltas in these plains. The rivers in the western plains are swift and short. They do not make deltas.
Regards.
