Solution

The correct option is B ₹72 Lakhs
Total cost of houses sold by Broker A = 24,00,000×50 = ₹12 crores
Brokerage earned by him = 3% of ₹12 crores = 3100×120000000 = ₹36,00,000
Total cost of houses sold by Broker B = 20,00,000×45 = ₹9 crores
Brokerage earned by him = 4% of ₹9 crores = 4100×90000000 = ₹36,00,000
Total Brokerage earned by them = ₹3600000 + ₹3600000 = ₹72,00,000 or ₹72 Lakhs.
