Solution

Physical change is a type of change where the physical properties of matter change. A change of state of matter, change in colour, odour, solubility, etc. all are examples of physical change. This change is reversible.
A chemical change is a type of change where the chemical properties of matter change. This change is irreversible.
Burning of LPG involves both physical and chemical changes because when LPG comes out of the cylinder and is converted from liquid to gaseous state it is a physical change. When the gas burns in the air, it produces carbon dioxide and water, and this process cannot be reversed using any physical method. Hence, it is a chemical change.
