  • Chemical change: The process in which the composition of substance is completely altered and a new product is formed is called a chemical change.
  • When the solution of ammonium chloride (NH4Cl) is heated above the temperature of 340°C, it forms Ammonia (NH3) and Hydrogen Chloride (HCl). Hence it is a chemical change.
