Open in App
Solution

we have,

Selling cloth =33 mtr

Let the selling price of a one mtr cloth is = Rs x

The selling price of 33 mtr cloth is Rs 33x

The selling price of 3 mtr cloth is 3x.

Selling price of 3 mtr. Cloth = Loss = Rs. 3x

Then,

According to given question,

Loss=C.P.S.P.Loss=C.P.S.P.

3x=C.P.33x

C.P.=3x+33x

C.P.=36x

Now,

Loss%=lossC.P.×100

Loss%=3x36x×100

Loss%=10012%=253%=813%.

Hence, this is the answer.
