Loss = Selling price of 10 pens = 10x
Loss = C.P – S.P
10x = C.P – 50x
C.P = 60x
Loss $\%$ = $\frac{loss}{C.P}$ $\times$ $100\%$
= $\left(\frac{10x}{60x}\right)\times 100\%$
= $\frac{50}{3}$ $\%$
