Distance covered be d
Usual speed be s
Usual time (in minutes) be t

Distance is the product of speed and time.
d=st(i)

When the person walks with 34th of his usual speed,
Speed is: s2=34s
Time is: t2=t+20
Again, applying distance formula:
d=s2t2
d=34s(t+20)(ii)

Equating equations (i) and (ii),
34s(t+20))=st
3t+60=4t
t=60 minutes
