Question

By what factors does the kinetic energy of a particles increased by a factors of 3?

Open in App
Solution

Dear Student

Kinetic energy of of a particle depends on the mass of particle and velocity of particle. As mass is constant so for increase in kinetic energy 3 times velocity must increase . Velocity can be increased by increasing the temperature of particle which increases energy of particles and gives more random motion to particles thus increasing velocity.
