The correct option is A 115 g of C2H5OH are consumed
C2H5OH + 3O2 = 2CO2 + 3H2O
From the above equation it is seen that two moles of Carbon Dioxide are produced from one mole of Ethanol. Molecular weight of Carbon Dioxide is 44 grams.
Thus, two moles of CO2 weighs (244) grams, that is 88grams.
Five moles of CO2 weighs (544) grams, that is 220grams.
One mole of Ethanol weighs 46grams.
Thus, from the equation above-
88grams of CO2 is obtained from 46grams of C2H5OH
1gram of CO2 is obtained from 4688grams of C2H5OH
220grams of CO2 is obtained from 4688220 grams, that is 115grams of C2H5OH
