$\frac{4}{9}+\frac{2}{7}$

$\frac{4}{9}$, $\frac{2}{7}$ are unlike fractions because their denominators is different.

The L.C.M. of the denominators of the given fractions i.e. the LCM of 9 and 7 is 63.

$\therefore \frac{4}{9}+\frac{2}{7}=\frac{4\times 7+2\times 9}{63}=\frac{28+18}{63}=\frac{46}{63}$
