H2(g)+12O2(g)H2O(l);ΔH=68.4kcal
C(g)+O2(g)CO2(g);ΔH=94.4kcal

Solution

Heat of formation of cane sugar = 11× heat of formation of water + 12× formation of CO2- heat of combustion of cane sugar
Heat of formation of cane sugar = 11(68.4)+12(94.4)(1350) = 535.2kcal
