HCO3 is proton acceptor as well as proton donor and therefore it is amphiprotic. For such case, pH=pk1+pk22

HCO3 can also ionise to form acidic solution.
HCO3+H2OH3O++CO23
pH of the salt is, pH=pk1+pk22
=6.38+10.262=8.32
