Volume of dibasic acid $=40$ ml.

Strength of dibasic acid $=?$

So strength of dibasic acid $=20\times 0.4/40=0.2$ N

Molarity of the dibasic acid $=$ Normality $/2$.

So Molarity $=0.2/2=0.1$ M
