Calculate sin α, cos α, and cot α if tan α = 12/5, π < α < 3π/2.

so before starting we have to keep the given interval in mind it is third quadrant
so as we know
tanα=perpendicularbase
and we know tan and cot are just reciprocal to each other so
cotα=512
and for sin and cos we have to calculate the hypotenuse by right triangle formula we get hypotenuse=13
and sinα=1213(remember those negative sign)

and cosα=513(remember those negative sign)
