Solution

The correct option is A 500 N
Given:
Mass of the person, m=50 kg
=50 kg×1000 g1 kg = 50000 g
Since, force exerted by gravity on a 100 g body = 1 N
Force exerted on a 50 kg or 50000 g person = 50000×1 N100=500 N
Hence, the force exerted by gravity on a 50 kg person will be 500 N.
