Mass of ice= 10 kg
1 kg= 1000 g
Mass of ice in grams= 10×1000 g= 10000 g
Total heat required= mass of ice×latent heat of fusion
= 10000 g × 336J/g
= 3360000 J
3360000 J of heat energy is required to convert 1 kg of ice into water at its meltinging point.
