Calculate the amount of water which needs to be added to make a 6 L solution when we have 4800 mL of milk.
1200 mL
We know that 1 L = 1000 mL
∴ 6 L = 6 x 1000 = 6000 mL
Now, to find the amount of water needed we subtract 4800 ml milk from 6000 ml solution.
Hence, amount of water needed = 6000 - 4800 = 1200 mL or 1 litre 200 mL
