Solution

Step:Calculate the Area Of a Triangle.

Given vertices of a triangle are A5,2,B4,7 And C7,-4 .

So, we have

x1=5,y1=2

x2=4,y2=7

x3=7,y3=-4

As we know the formula of Area Of a Triangle =12x1y2-y3+x2y3-y1+x3y1-y2

Now by substituting the given coordinates, we get;

=1257+4+4-4-2+72-7=12511+4-6+7-5=1255-24-35=12-4=12×-4=-2

Therefore, the area of a triangle formed from the given points is -2 square units.
