Perimeter is the length of the boundary of a 2D shape.
$\Rightarrow$ Perimeter of the given land = AB + BC + CD + DE + EF + FA

From the figure:
CD = 9 m - 7 m = 2 m
DE = 9 m - 3 m = 6 m

Now perimeter of the given land = 9 m + 3 m + 2 m + 6 m + 7 m + 9 m = 36 m

Cost of fencing 1 m = ₹ 5
Therefore, cost of fencing the given land = 36 $\times$ 5 = ₹ 180
