Solution

The correct option is C Rs. 150
Total energy consumed,

E=2×401000×6×30+2×501000×8×30+1×1201000×6×30

E=60 kWh=60 unit [1 kWh=1 unit]

Given, the cost of electricity is Rs. 2.5/unit.

So, total cost will be,

Rs. 60×2.5=Rs. 150

Hence, option (C) is the correct answer.
