Calculate the equivalent resistance between the points A and B for the following combination of resistors:

Let 4Ω, 4Ω and 4Ω are in series.
R1=4+4+4=12Ω
Now 2Ω, 2Ω and 2Ω are in series.
R2=2+2+2=6Ω
Now, R1=12Ω, R2=6Ω and 4Ω are in parallel.
1R3=112+14+16
=1+3+212=612=12
R3=2Ω
Now between A and B, 5Ω, 2Ω and 6Ω are in series.
Resistance between A and B, R=5+2+6=13Ω
Hence, Equivalent resistance between A and B =13Ω
