V2=4 litres=4×103 m3

Cp=52R [CpCv=R]
& γ=CpCv=53=1.67

For adiabatic process,
P1Vγ1=P2Vγ2
P2=P1(V1V2)γ=105(84)1.67
=105(2)1.67=3.18×105 N/m2

Work done in an adiabatic process,
W=P1V1P2V2γ1=(105×8×1033.18×105×4×103)1.671
W=100[812.72]0.67=704.47705 J
