Mass of glucose = 125g, Mass of water = 375g


Given mass of solution (M) = 500g

Concentration of solution = 25%

Since, Mass by Mass percentage of solution = [Mass of solute (m)/Mass of solution (M)] × 100
25 = m500×100

m = 25100×500 = 125g

Mass of solute = 125 g

Mass of solvent (water) = M - m = 500g - 125g = 375 g
