180 gm, 460 gm


It is given that

XH2O=XC2H5OH=0.5

But XH2O=Moles of H2OMoles of H2O + Moles of C2H5OH=0.5

Moles of H2O = Moles of C2H5OH
1 mole of H2O = 18 gm
1 mole of C2H5OH = 46 gm
This gives 64 gm
for 640 gm, we need 10 moles each 180 gm H2O and 460 gm C2H5OH
