The atomic mass of oxygen is 16g/mol

Step 2: Total atoms in 1 mole of oxygen:-

The total number of atoms that are present in 1 mole of oxygen is =6.022×1023

Or 6.022×1023number of atoms in oxygen weighs 16g.

Step 3: Mass of 1 atom of oxygen:-

Therefore the mass of 1 atom of oxygen is

Massofoneatom=AtomicmassAvogadronumber

166.022×1023=2.657×10-23g.

Hence the mass of 1 atom of oxygen is 2.657×10-23g
