Work done is maximum means the process is reversible process and for isothermal reversible process :
w=2.303nRT logP1P2

n = number of moles of hydrogen 
n=given weightmolar mass = 142=7 mol

Given : P1=20 atm
P2=2 atm
T=273 K
R=2 cal/K.mol
so,
w=2.303×7×2×273×log202
= 8802.06 cal
or 8.8 kcal
