Calculate the molality of the solution and mole fraction of solute and solvent in 25%w/w AQ. Solution of KOH.

It is given that concentration of solution is 25% w/w. This means that 25g KOH is present in 100g of solution.
So Mass of KOH = 25g
Mass of solution = 100g
Mass of water = 100g-25g=75g
Moles of KOH= Mass/molar mass = 25g/56u=0.446 moles
Molality =moles/mass of solvent
= 0.446 moles/0.075Kg= 5.95 moles Kg-1
