Molecular mass is calculated by summing up the individual masses of the atoms.
For:
  1. SO2 = S + 2O = 32 + 2x16 = 64 u
  2. N2 = 2 x N = 2 x 14 = 28 u
  3. HCl = H + Cl = 1 + 35.5 = 36.5 u
