Open in App
Solution

The mass of an ion is the same as that of an atom of the same element. Atomic mass of Al=27 u.

Moles of Al2O3=0.051102

Number of molecules of Al2O3=0.051102×6.023×1023=3×1020

1 molecule of Al2O3 contains 2 aluminium ions

so, 3×1020contains 6×1020 aluminium ions
