Length of the rectangle $= 15 m$
The breadth of the rectangle $= 12 m$
The perimeter of the rectangle $= 2 (l + b)$
$= 2 (15 + 12) = 2 \times 27 = 54 m$
The rate of fencing $= ₹ 2.50$ per meter
So the cost of fencing $= p e r i m e t e r \times r a t e o f f e n c i n g$
$= 54 \times 2.50 = 135$
Hence the cost of fencing $= ₹ 135$
