The correct option is C Loss of 5%
Cost price (C.P.) of the refrigerator = ₹10,000
Selling price (S.P.) of the refrigerator = ₹9,500
Since S.P. < C.P., a loss is incurred.
So Loss = ₹10,000 - ₹9,500 = ₹500
Now, loss percentage
= Loss incurredCost Price × 100 = 50010,000 × 100 = 5%
