Step 2: Finding heat produced in a resistor

We know that heat produced in a resistor is

H=I2RtH=2.52×20×5×60H=37500J (Where H is the heat produced, I is current, R is the resistance and T is the time)

Hence, the quantity of heat produced is 37500Joule.
