Solution

The correct option is B 7150
Given,

Length of the rectangular prism =7 unit

Breadth of the rectangular prism =3 unit

Height of the rectangular prism =5 unit

The lateral surface area of a rectangular prism= 2( l + b) h

=2(7+3)×5

=100 unit2

The total surface area of a rectangular prism =2(lb)+2(bh)+2(lh)

=(2×7×3)+(2×3×5)+(2×5×7)=142 unit2

Hence, The ratio is

Total surface area of a rectangular prismLateral surface area of a rectangular prism=142100=7150

Option (b) is correct.
