The correct option is A 3.5 M
Molarity=number of moles of solutevolume of solution in mL×1000

Initial number of moles of solute=2.5×25001000=6.25 mol

Moles of HNO3 added=157.563=2.5

Total moles=6.25+2.5=8.75 mol

New molarity=8.752500×1000=3.5 M

Molarity after addition of solute will be 3.5 M.
